Story Origin

Touching Colours is based on a true story. Linda James, the director and writer was both moved and fascinated by the tale and decided to turn it into a powerful film script after further research.

The script took several months to research and write

Production

The film was shot over four days in and around Eastbourne using a small professional crew of four and actors. It was filmed in 6K cinema RAW using a Red Dragon camera.

Post Production

Touching Colours has been entered  into several festivals. The writer / director has already screened it twice at her local arts centre cinema and has entered it into international festivals.

Synaesthesia

The strange condition that affect Lucy toward the end of her blindness which caused a cross over of the senses. It affects 1 in 30 people and many famous people in the past have had it.

Awards and Festivals

Touching Colours has won five awards so far. The writer / director has already screened it twice at her local arts centre cinema and has entered it into national and international festivals, including Cannes.
